ELIGIBILITY

 

Postsecondary Fellowships

Students must be American citizens, Green Card holders, or be in the process of obtaining legal permanent residency.

Students must currently attend and will graduate from a high school in one of these counties:

  • Orange County

  • Osceola County

  • Seminole County

By the fall after graduating high school students must be pursuing a full-time postsecondary education at a fully accredited 2 or 4 year college, university, or vocational training program within the United States.

Students must identify as Hindu.

Maintaining eligibility

Ambassadors must maintain a 3.0 GPA and provide documentation annually

Ambassadors must demonstrate a commitment to the Generation Om mission statement and values by engaging in the following:

  • 40 hours of approved volunteer work per academic year.

  • Submit 1 article annually for possible inclusion in the Generation Om newsletter.

  • Attend the annual Fellowship Banquet. If needed, one excused absence due to university or internship conflict will be granted during the fellowship period.

  • Ambassadors continue to personally identify as Hindu.


Rising Senior Fellowships

Students must be American citizens, Green Card holders, or be in the process of obtaining legal permanent residency.

Students must currently attend and will graduate from a high school in one of these counties:

  • Orange County

  • Osceola County

  • Seminole County

Students must identify as Hindu.
